Mission Statement
“I hope to maximize my positive impact on this world. Automation, artificial intelligence, and interplanetary travel will have the greatest influence on the world at large in the coming decade. It is our duty to ensure these technologies are used responsibly, mindfully, and intentionally as they are developed. It doesn’t hurt that they are also deeply captivating.”
Research
Microgrid control
Developing deep neural networks as a method for control system solutions. Applying to microgrid power management problems.
Titan Aerogravity Assist
Conducting Mission Analysis of a mission to Enceladus using a Titan Aerogravity Assist. Working on automating the mission iteration process.
Autonomous Car Simulator
Worked on environment development in Unreal Engine and Blender for VR autonomous car simulator used in human factors studies.
Computer Vision - Synthetic Datasets
This is currently my favorite pet project. Machine Learning algorithms are data-hungry when it comes to training. Datasets are expensive, take time to develop, and have inherent biases in them that affect the final decisions of artificial intelligence systems. Using photorealistic CGI, we can create comprehensive datasets and ground truths with nothing more than computation power.
This process makes these systems safer, more accurate, and more robust.

Leadership - Extracurriculars
NASA RASC-AL Ice Mining Challenge
Helped lead a team of 20 students to develop a robot that mines simulated Martian regolith and harvests ice to obtain usable water. Our final design placed 4th nationally.
Helped the team obtain additional funding through NASA Space Grant and received a NASA Space Grant scholarship.
Student Space Technology Association
Helped coordinate and obtain resources for the many projects and teams under SSTA.
Organized an event with the HAM radio team to talk to allow local elementary students to talk directly to astronauts aboard the ISS.
Participated in the NASA CubeSAT initiative with a proposal to examine radiation’s effects on different kinds of RAM.
Payload Sub-team Lead for NASA Space Launch Initiative team.
Volunteer Maker's Club
Led volunteer workshops to teach students workshop safety for 3D printers, CNC machines, laser cutters, and power tools.
Our 3D-printed prosthetics team was so successful that it necessitated creating its own team – the Life without Limits Lab.
Proposed, Designed, and built a torchbearer award for Mossman speaker Adam Savage.
Worked with UT administration to obtain more resources for engineering and interdisciplinary teams.
Photogrammetry
Note: More 3D Modeling coming soon!
